and they are quite popular

That's true, it's probably more accurate to say that this is an Empress game with all the fetishes and ethics they delve into while having a Fem Mc that's Lesbian (or atleast Lesbian leaning bi). I always enjoyed the topics and fetishes that Empress presents and to me, a person who loves Yuri and degenerate stuff like urination and bdsm, this is a matchmade in heaven but I did imply too greatly that all yuri enjoyers would like this but that s a mistake. This is a first and foremost an Empress game with a Fem protag that happens to like girls a lot but gets subjected to all the shit Empress MCs deal with. (except maybe Kisaku)

Whoever made this patch broke the ability to mute male voices in the game. The [ETC] slider usually does it, but it doesn't work properly with this version, it mutes -all- voices, even the girls. Putting back the original japanese scenario.arc fixes it, and the [ETC] slider only mutes male voices. Obviously that means no translation, as well.

For people actually playing this game, is the MTL good enough for a visual novel game or does it need an intervention?

its feasable. names and pronouns are majorly mixed up . (for instance I and you, or he/she(wich gets incredibly confusing with the femboy)) and sometimes the characters names arent recognized as such, translating them as the litterall meaning of the name.
but other than that. its readable

the rest is all m on f , yuri. or toys.
